Ryan McClure joined KGUN 9 as a digital content producer in July of 2024.
Born in Walnut Creek, CA, his passion for news telling and digital producing comes from his love of sports as a child. Always reading the sports page in the newspaper, or going through every sports website possible.
His dream of working in news brought him to Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where he received a bachelor's degree in Sports Journalism in December of 2023.
While in college, he completed internships with Arizona Sports 98.7, SB Nation, and Sun Devil Athletics. He was also a digital content producer for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS and a producer for the student-run Blaze Radio.
In his free time Ryan loves to play golf, hang out with friends, and spend time with his yellow Labrador, Sierra. When not doing these things Ryan is spending time with his family, traveling, or simply relaxing.
