TUCSON, Ariz — Aari McDonald scored an efficient 19 points on eight of ten shooting as 12th ranked Arizona knocked off Washington, 64-53, Friday night at McKale Center.
Sam Thomas registered six blocks and four steals on defense, and Arizona shot 50% on 3-pointers by making nine of eighteen from beyond the arc. Helena Pueyo added fourteen points off the bench
The win improves the Wildcats record to 20-4 overall, 9-4 in the Pac-12. Arizona will host Washington State on Sunday.
