TUCSON, Ariz — Gray Kelley fell down in exuberance after winning the 12 and under boys United State Tennis Association tournament at Reffkin Tennis Center.
"The feeling is great after working super hard," said Kelley. "To get a clutch win like that, it feels so good."
Kelley is one of several winners as the tournament consisted of both boys and girls, as well as singles and doubles. It is one of four junior USTA national tournaments, held one per season.
Players come from all over the country. Kelley is from Los Angeles. He practices six days a week as one hour consists of tennis, while the other is fitness.
"You've just got to stay focused, confident, and eventually you'll do it."
