Michael Bunting's overtime goal helped the Roadrunners defeat Texas, 2-1, as Tucson takes a one game to none series lead in the Pacific Division finals.

"I got in their zone after a turnover," said Bunting of the game winning goal. "I was going down with Lane Pederson. I was looking to pass but he was a little behind. The defense came in and I had to shoot it and it went in."

Bunting scored both Roadrunners goals. Goalie Adin Hill notched his third straight win in net, despite his shutout streak of more than 178 minutes being stopped on a power play goal late in the third period.

"Everyone in OT is going to come out with their best," said Hill.  "We got a few chances and we buried one."

Tucson outshot Texas 36-24. Game two of the best of seven series is Friday night at the Tucson Arena.
