TUCSON, Ariz — Pima men's basketball has some unfinished business.

Last year, the Aztecs were the national runner-up, losing in the JUCO Division II title game. Now, they head back to Danville, Illinois as the third seed in this year's national tournament.

"We got a taste of it last year," said leading scorer Abram Carrasco. "We feel we have the same pieces in place to go back and finish the job this year."

Carrasco broke the school's career scoring record for the Aztecs men's team this year. Jacqulynn Nakai did the same for the Aztecs women's team, who is also headed to the National JUCO Division II Tournament.

"Momentum is huge," said Pima women's coach Todd Holthaus, who's team has won five in a row.

The ladies are headed to Arkansas where they will play Lake Michigan in the first round on Tuesday morning. The men play Cecil in their first round game, which is also on Tuesday.
