TUCSON, Arizona — Cate Reese scored 21 points and added 11 rebounds as the 7th ranked Wildcats defeated NAU 76-63 in the season opener at McKale Center.
Aari McDonald added 18 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals for Arizona, who is enjoying its highest ranking ever to start a season.
The Wildcats have had difficulty scheduling opponents during COVID-19, and are set to host UCLA in their Pac-12 opener next Friday night.
