Arizona Basketball's latest player is former Pittsburgh power forward Ryan Luther.
Luther is a 6'9'' senior who averaged 12.7 points and 10.1 rebounds last season for Pittsburgh before injuring his foot. He is expected to be able to play immediately as a graduate transfer.
Luther gives Arizona a much needed big man as the Wildcats roster was depleted going into the off-season. The Wildcats have had to deal with players leaving early for the NBA, as well as recruits decommitting due to the college basketball corruption scandal.
At 22, Luther gives Arizona a mature player who is skilled both inside and outside the arc.
