TUCSON, Arizona — One day after five-star recruit Aaronette Vonleh committed to Arizona, the Wildcats landed Estonia's Anna Gret Asi.
Gret Asi is a five-foot ten point guard. She averaged fourteen points per game last summer in the Under 18 European FIBA Tournament. The Wildcats will need to replace star point guard Aari McDonald following this coming season.
Vonleh is a six-foot three post player from the state of Oregon. She is the youngest sister of NBA player Noah Vonleh.
Both players will be freshmen in the fall of 2021. Each of the announcements came from their social media accounts.
