Arizona Wildcats in the NBA: Here's where former stars have landed

TUCSON, Ariz. - Several former Arizona Wildcats have found new homes after a flurry of trades and free-agent signings. Here's a look at where former UA stars have currently landed:

Rawle Alkins (6-5, 225 pounds, SF)

Undrafted, he averaged 3.7 points in 10 games with the Bulls last season. He's now on the Rockets' summer league team.

Kadeem Allen (6-3, 192 pounds, PG)

After a stint with the Celtics, he latched on with the Knicks last season, averaging 9.9 points in 19 games with the Knicks, for which he's playing in the summer league.

Brandon Ashley (6-9. 230 pounds, SF)

Yet to play in an NBA game, he has spent time in Europe and the G League. He's with the Kings' summer league team.

Deandrea Ayton (7-1, 250 pounds, C)

The No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft is gearing up for his second season with the Suns after averaging 16.3 points per game as a rookie.

Jerryd Bayless (6-3, 200 pounds, PG)

An 11-year NBA veteran who has played for nine teams, Bayless averaged 6.1 points per game for the Timberwolves last season. He's now a free agent looking for his next team.

Channing Frye (7-0, 255 pounds, PF)

After playing for six teams over 13 seasons -- most recently the Cavs -- Frye announced his retirement.

Aaron Gordon (6-9. 220 pounds, SF)

After averaging 16 points per game last season, Gordon will be back for his sixth season on the Magic.

Solomon Hill (6-7, 225 pounds, SF)

He's split his first six years in the league with the Pacers and the Pelicans, and was traded to the Grizzlies after contributing 4.3 points per game last season.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (6-7. 217 pounds, SF)

He's put together a solid four-year career with the Nets, averaging 8.9 points per game last season. He signed with the Raptors.

Andre Iguodala (6-6, 215 pounds, SF)

After spending 15 years playing for the 76ers, Nuggets and Warriors -- winning NBA Finals MVP honors in 2015 -- Iguodala was traded to the Grizzlies.
The Warriors have decided to retire his jersey.
Stanley Johnson (6-7, 245 pounds, SF)

After playing four years for the Pistons, he averaged 5.3 points per game with the Pelicans last season. He's now on the Raptors.

Lauri Markkanen (7-0, 240 pounds, PF)

The rising star averaged 18.7 points per game last season, and is headed to his third year on the Bulls.

T.J. McConnell (6-2, 190 pounds, PG)

After a four-year stint with the 76ers, who picked him up as an undrafted free agent out of college, McConnell signed with the Pacers.

Brandon Randolph (6-6, 174 pounds, SG)

An undrafted rookie, he's on the Timberwolves' summer league squad.

Justin Simon (6-5, 205 pounds, SG)

He transferred to St. John's after one season with the UA, then declared for the draft and wasn't selected. The Bulls are trying him out on their summer league team.

Allonzo Trier (6-5, 200 pounds, SG)

He latched onto the Knicks as a regular rookie contributor after going undrafted. Having averaged 10.9 points per game, he's playing on the Knicks' summer league squad.

Gabe York (6-3, 190 pounds, SG)

A G League regular who has yet to play in an NBA game, he's on the Magic summer league team.
