Arizona beats Houston Baptist, 90-60 in season opener

Brandon Randolph scored a career-high twenty five points as Arizona Basketball defeated Houston Baptist, 90-60, it its season opener.

"I'm just fitting into a different role," said Randolph. "My teammates are finding me in open spots when I can score."

The Wildcats overcame a sloppy first half and scored 57 points after intermission. Chase Jeter scored eleven points and added ten rebounds.

Arizona was playing without sophomore Ira Lee, who served his one game suspension for a code of conduct violation.

The Wildcats will host Cal Poly on Sunday afternoon.
