TUCSON, Ariz — Antonio Rosales brought his Sugar Skulls teammates to the Tohono O'odham Indian Reservation, where he grew up, for a youth sports clinic.

Rosales is an offensive lineman for the Skulls who played at Tuscon High School and San Diego State.

"As soon as things got going, you have all of these big guys and these mean looking guys start smiling, laughing, and talking it up, and they kind of come out of their shell."

"Antonio is from here, and you want to do everything you can to make him feel at home, and make sure that he knows that we support him," said head coach Marcus Coleman.

"It's something I'll never forget," said one young fan. "I hope they come out there again, and more people come."

The Sugar Skulls host Quad City on Saturday night and will make the playoffs with a win.
