TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Police have reopened Pantano Road following a peaceful resolution to a dangerous welfare call on Sunday, Dec. 23.
The man initially refused to come out of his home after behaving erratically, but surrendered without injuring anyone or himself.
TPD was responded to the welfare call around 8 a.m. to reports of a man acting erratically near North Pantano road. TPD has confirmed that the man may have been armed while on the roof before he ran into his house.
After arriving on scene, Tucson Police shut down North Pantano Road from 5th through 3rd street from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
