UCLA hit four home runs off Arizona starting pitcher Taylor McQuillan to defeat Arizona, 7-1, in game one of the NCAA Super Regional.
The 3rd seeded Bruins got tow long balls by senior Madeline Jelenicki, and are now 55-5 on the season. Arizona got an unearned run in the top of the 7th on a grounder by Malia Martinez to avoid being shutout.
UCLA had 12 hits from eight different players.
Game two of the best of three series is Friday night.
