TUCSON, Arizona — UArizona linebacker Tony Fields II announced on social media that he is entering the transfer portal just weeks before the season is set to begin.
Fields was a three-year starter who accumulated 287 tackles. He writes that he will be a graduate transfer, which should make him immediately eligible to play.
Fields is the second three-year starter to depart since Paul Rhoades took over as defensive coordinator in the off-season. Safety Scottie Young Jr. transferred to West Virginia.
