Arizona soccer will host Texas Christian University on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Soccer Tournament.

The Wildcats learned their fate on Monday at McKale Center as they watched the selection show online.

"We're extremely excited, said senior midfeilder Gaby Stoian. "This is what we wanted from the beginning of the season, to make the tournament, and to host a game in front of your fans. It's the best it could get."

It is the third NCAA Tournament for Stoian, who is part of the first senior class to claim that accomplishment. The Wildcats will enter the tournament on a seven game unbeaten streak, having recently defeated ASU on senior night.

"I'm excited for the team because this is what we've been working towards all year," said head coach Tony Amato. "I'm particularly excited for our seniors who have done this for the third time. We'll stick to what we've done all year. The team knows it is a big game  but as long as we have a good game plan and a good week of practice we'll be able to handle it."
