TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Tucson Sugar Skulls got a win in their Indoor Football League debut Sunday against the San Diego Strike Force.
Former Arizona Rattlers quarterback Matt Behrednt started the game.
He had two of Tucson's five first-half touchdowns.
Jake Medlock played quaterback in the second half as planned.
Medlock led the IFL in passing yards last season.
Running back Mike Jones and Wide Receiver Shaq Curenton each had three touchdowns.
Sugar Skulls win 64-44.
The Sugar Skulls are home to Bismark next Sunday at the Tucson Convention Center.
