TUCSON, Ariz — The Tucson Sugar Skulls say the Indoor Football League admitted that holding should have been called at the end of the 4th quarter loss to the Iowa Barnstormers on Saturday night.

Iowa's DaQuan Neal scored on a quarterback scramble with seven seconds to go, despite an obvious holding penalty on the Sugar Skulls.

Tucson head coach Marcus Coleman challenged the call, but was told he couldn't challenge a holding call. As it turns out, the play was one that was able to be challenged because it was on a scoring play. Sunday, the Skulls say the IFL told Coleman that holding should have been called, which means the touchdown would not have counted.

Iowa won 61-58, dropping the Sugar Skulls to 3-5 on the season.
