TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tucson Sugar Skulls have found a new weapon on special teams.

They picked up kick returner and wide receiver Jeremiah Harris before last week's home game.

In the victory over San Diego, Harris averaged 35-yards a kickoff return, setting up a pair of Sugar Skulls touchdowns.

He is listed at five feet, two inches tall. But he tells KGUN 9 that he is actually just five foot five, and difficult to catch.

"Me being small and the field being little, they can't keep up with me," said Harris. "It's to my advantage."

Harris says his speed is his best attribute, but not his only one.

"Speed and determination that I'm going to win every time I touch the ball," said Harris. "I make the most out of every opportunity I get."

The Sugar Skulls face the Strike Force again Thursday night, this time in San Diego.

The Skulls have won the first three games in the series against the Strike Force."
