Tucsonan Sarah Sellers shocked the running community when she finished second in the Boston Marathon. Friday, she slowed down for a meet and greet at The Running Shop in Tucson.
Sellers, who is a nurse at Banner UMC, met with fans and told them her story. The Running Shop is where she bought the sneakers she wore in the Boston Marathon.
"I love to help out those who are younger and are trying to get into the sport or running or trying to accomplish their goals," said Sellers. "I had a ton of role models so this is pretty cool."
Sellers plans to run in the New York 10K mini marathon in Central Park on June 10th.
