TUCSON, Arizona — Salpointe football will quarantine for two weeks after one of its players tested positive for COVID-19, according to athletic director Phil Gruensfelder.
The quarantine comes at the recommendation of the Pima County Health Department.
The Lancers, ranked 3rd in the state of Arizona by MaxPreps, are coming off a 29-21 home win over Casa Grande to begin the season. Their upcoming game against Buena will be rescheduled to October 23rd. However, their game against Pinnacle is canceled as the Pioneers don't have an open date.
