TUCSON, Ariz — They are four Salpointe Lancers who did a lot of winning together, and today they announced their college signing together at Frog and Firkin Restaurant.

Bijan Robinson, Lathan Ransom, Bruno Fina, and Charlie Raetzman are headed to Texas, Ohio, State UCLA, and Minot State.

"I'm very excited to get started with Texas," said Robinson. "Thanks to everyone here who has supported with everything we've gone through the last four years."

"This day means everything," said Ransom. "The Tucson community came out to support us. And, it just shows how much hard work the Salpointe individuals made for us."

"I don't think I would have been as heavily noticed or as heavily recruited if it wasn't for Bijan and Lathan," said Fina. "They push everyone every day. They raise the team spirit. They make us all better."

"I've grown up with Lathan and Bijan and I've known Bruno since freshman year," said Raetzman. "Growing up and playing football with them has been a dream."

It's also an exciting day for the families of the student-athletes. Robinson's Mom, Lamore Sauls, is already wearing Longhorn burnt orange.

"I'm already planning on which games I'm going to go to," said Sauls. "I'm excited."

The four student-athletes arent the only ones leaving the Salpointe program. Coach Dennis Bene stepped down after nineteen years. However, today it's about his players.

"I'm incredibly proud," said Bene. "It's an accumulation of four years for these kids and their families. They are four really wonderful kids."
