TUCSON, Ariz. — Legendary Sahuaro High School basketball coach Dick McConnell died Tuesday.
Sahuaro's first ever coach, McConnell led the Cougars to four state titles in 1970, 1982, 2000 and 2001.
He won 774 games during his 39 years coaching at Sahuaro.
McConnell was 89.
