At the annual Teddy Bear Toss night, 5,398 fans sent approximately 5,500 bears onto the ice after the game's first goal in a 5-0 win over Ontario.

After a scoreless first period, Tyler Steenburgen found the back of the net, sending the bears flying onto the ice. They were collected and will be distributed to those less fortunate over the holiday season.

Steenburgen scored two goals on the night. Merrick Madsen made 32 saves in the shutout win.

The 5,500 bears is a team record, according to the Roadrunners.
