Pima County has thrown a pitch to the Milwaukee Brewers.

County officials have reached out to the Brewers to try and have them hold Spring Training at Kino Sports Complex. Currently, Milwaukee plays its Cactus League games at Maryvale Park in Phoenix.

The Brewers have reportedly tried to leave for Gilbert, as Maryvale Park seats approximately 7,000 fans. Kino Stadium holds 11,000 fans.

"I would be most interested in showing you the Kino Sports Complex when you are available, as well as introduce you to our county officials and tourism staff," wrote Reenie Ochoa, Pima County Stadium Director.

Tucson hasn't had spring training baseball since 2010, when the Diamondbacks and Rockies, the last two remaining teams, left for the Phoenix area. It wasn't practical to be the only teams in Tucson.
