TUCSON, Arizona — Arizona Basketball tweeted that forward Jordan Brown has won the gold practice jersey, a symbol of the team's best player in practice, for the second straight week.
"Like so many of our players, I would have loved to have had an April, a May, the three summer months of June, July, and August with Jordan," said head coach Sean Miller during last week's media day. "Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to be in Tucson but he’s a great kid, and incredibly hard worker. He’s a great teammate, very talented."
Brown is a 6'11'' forward/center who sat out last season after transferring from Nevada. He's a former McDonalds All-American.
Congratulations to Jordan Brown (@JIBrown21) on keeping the gold jersey for Week #2 of practice. #BackToBack #APlayersProgram #BearDown pic.twitter.com/6Z28jSDjJW
