TUCSON, Ariz. — One of the all-time great Arizona Wildcat basketball players is about to coach a future Wildcat.
Mike Bibby is the new head coach at Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix.
Former first round pick Deandre Ayton played at Hillcrest.
Arizona commit Dalen Terry plays there now. He is a 4-star wing according to 247 Sports.
Bibby helped the Arizona Wildcats to the 1997 national championship.
He coached Shadow Mountain to four straight Arizona State Titles, before leaving the school after a sexual abuse scandal last season. He was never charged.
