TUCSON, Arizona — Former Arizona quarterback Grant Gunnell has transferred to Memphis, as first reported by 247 Sports.
Gunnell entered the transfer portal shortly after Kevin Sumlin was let go as head coach. He appeared in 12 games over two seasons at Arizona. Gunnell threw for 15 touchdown passes and just three interceptions.
Memphis QB Brady White is foregoing his final season for the NFL draft. The Tigers finished seventh in the nation in passing yards last season, with 3,387.
While there is yet to be an official announcement, Gunnell has put "Memphis" on the top of his twitter account.
