TUCSON, Arizona — International prospect Daniel Batcho is joining Arizona Basketball, becoming the third international commitment for Sean Miller's team next year.
Batcho, a 6'10'' forward who was born in France, gives the Wildcats frontcourt depth after the departures of Zeke Nnaji to the NBA and Stone Gettings to graduation.
"It was good to see that Arizona has had success with international players in the past," he told ESPN. "That shows they have a global understanding of the game that goes beyond the U.S. boundaries. I definitely want to. keep this tradition and have success there myself."
Batcho joins other international recruits in Canada's Ben Mathurin and Estonia's Kerr Krissa.
