TUCSON, Ariz — Arizona held off Chico State, 74-65, in the Wildcats only exhibition game at McKale Center.

Chase Jeter led the Wildcats, who trailed 33-32 at halftime with 17 points.

"Our biggest things is we have to play hard all game long," said Jeter.

Ira Lee added 10 points and 14 rebounds. Arizona did give up ten 3-pointers.

"We had some lackadaisical closeouts," said head coach Sean Miller. "We had some guys overhelping, so we want to be better defending the 3-point line."

The Wildcats played without Devonaire Doutrive, who has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. Arizona was also missing Zeke Nnaji, who was out with an anke injury.
