Arizona Football to visit Utah

Posted

Arizona Football and 'defensive battle' are two phrases that haven't gone together in recent years. However, the Wildcats and Utes could be in for a low scoring game this Friday night at Utah.

The Wildcats are coming off a game in which its defense forced four turnovers, two of which were returned for touchdowns.

"We're playing with confidence, swagger, and fun," said defensive lineman JB Brown, who recorded his first career sack in last week's 24-17 win over Cal. "We practice like this, we keep the intensity up and let's let loose and play with swag."

Meanwhile, the Utes lead the Pac-12 in most defensive statistical categories. The Utes are allowing just 2.4 yards per rush.

"They fly to the ball really well," said wide receiver Cedric Peterson. "Their defensive line, secondary, and linebackers are really good. It's a big game for us and we need to be on our 'A' game."

The Wildcats have dropped two in a row to Utah after winning four straight against the Utes from 2012-15.
