TUCSON, Ariz — Arizona Football will be playing the underdog role, and the spoiler role, at sixth ranked Oregon and eigth ranked Utah on Saturday.
The Ducks have the best chance of any Pac-12 team of making the college football playoff. Meanwhile, the Wildcats will be looking to stop a four game losing streak.
"Why not now on ESPN against No. 6 Oregon who will hopefully be in the playoffs," said senior safety Tristan Cooper. "Why not prove a point to people?"
At 4-5, the Wildcats are on a four game losing streak. Arizona needs two wins to be bowl eligible. The last three times an unranked Arizona team played a ranked Oregon team, the Wildcats won. And, they're not concerned about noise Autzen Stadium on Saturday night.
"Most of our offense uses hand signals," said wide receiver Brian Casteel. "So, it's our job to use good communication from the sideline to the field, and we should be fine."
