TUCSON, Arizona — Arizona assistant basketball coach Justin Gainey is leaving to become the associate head coach at Marquette University, according to that school's news release.
Gainey spent two seasons with the Wildcats. He returns to Marquette where he once served as the basketball team's director of operations.
Gainey came to the Wildcats after spending time as an assistant coach at Santa Clara. He played college basketball at N.C. State and then overseas as a professional.
