The coronavirus is taking a toll on at-risk people everywhere, whether it’s financially or physically.

Arizona ranked 49 out of 51 spots when it came to states providing support for at-risk populations, a new WalletHub report shows.

The report compiled data from various government, medical and social programs to determine which states provided the most and least support for at-risk populations.

It looked at relief funds, households in poverty receiving assistance, elderly people receiving at-home meals, sheltered homeless individuals, unemployment insurance recipients and more.

Arizona received a ranking of 49 and 50 for the “food and housing assistance” and “unemployment support” categories. It came in at 36 in terms of “coronavirus relief and medical services.” Overall, Arizona was only ahead of Mississippi and North Carolina in the general rankings.

The states seeming to provide the most support were Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, Rhode Island and Maine.
