PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona Public Service officials say they are trying to restore power to about 7,000 customers in central Phoenix.

They say the areas impacted are between Indian School and McDowell roads on both sides of Interstate-17.

It's unclear what caused the outage, which occurred before 8 a.m. Sunday.

APS officials say electricity is expected to be fully restored by around 10:30 a.m.
