TUCSON, Ariz. — Three people will be staying with family after being displaced from an apartment fire on the eastside.
Tucson Fire responded to an apartment complex in the 10200 block of E. Speedway Blvd. around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Firefighters say the fire had spread throughout the bathroom and filled the entire apartment with smoke. It took 18 minutes to get the flames under control.
TFD says those living in the unit were alerted to this fire by a smoke alarm and were able to get out safely.
No one was hurt and a cause is under investigation.
