Utterback M.S. placed on soft lockdown after shots fired near campus

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson Police say no injuries were reported after gunfire near a southside middle school prompted a soft lockdown on Monday.

Tucson Police say there was a report of shots fired near Utterback Middle School around 3:40 p.m.. The school was placed on a soft lockdown until dismissal.

TPD also says no suspects are in custody.
