Man identified after shot, killed on southside

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Tucson Police are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found with obvious signs of trauma on the southside.

According to Tucson Police, the man was found Saturday around 5 p.m. near S. 6th Avenue and W. Nebraska Street. Calls to emergency said the man was lying in the roadway and not responsive. TPD says the victim had obvious signs of gunshot trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim is identified as 55-year-old Arturo Moreno Bustamante.

No word on what led up to the shooting or how many people were involved. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
