PHOENIX — An adult teen has been arrested after causing over $60,000 in damage to an elementary school in Phoenix, according to court paperwork.

Phoenix police report that four people committed four burglaries at two locations near 44th Street and McDowell Road.

According to court documents, the group caused over $60,000 in damage in two burglaries of Griffith Elementary School.

They also allegedly broke into Angels Trumpet Ale House in November.

On December 8, police were called again to Angels Trumpet Ale House for a possible burglary.

They did not find any evidence of a break in but did find the four suspects in the area.

Police say surveillance video at the school helped them to identify the suspect involved in the burglaries.

They were all arrested after allegedly admitting to the burglaries. The name of one suspect, 18-year-old Ibrahim Al-Shabazz, has been released.
