TUCSON, Ariz. -- As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, the Salvation Army says it is in need of turkeys.

The organization says it is expecting to serve more than 1,000 people on Thanksgiving Day. To make sure there is enough food to feed families, the Salvation Army is asking for 400 turkeys to be donated.

From November 6th through 26th, the Salvation Army is partnering with St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church to collect the turkeys. Donations can be dropped off at The Hospitality House at 1002 N. Main Ave.
