The $128 million Ina Road construction project is well into its second year, and remains on track to wrap up in early 2019.

During the week of May 14, crews will place girders on a bridge that will deliver westbound Ina Road traffic over the Santa Cruz River west of Interstate 10.

In early May, crews set girders over the future westbound I-10 lanes.

The project will eventually carry Ina Road traffic over the freeway, railroad tracks and river.

In June, the project will reopen the eastbound frontage road from Starcommerce Way to Ina.
