TUCSON, Ariz. -- With the holidays approaching, the Historic Canoa Ranch is getting ready to kick off the first-ever Christmas at Canoa celebration.

On December 7th, from 1 to 6 p.m., all are welcome to come to the event and enjoy food, music, arts and crafts, carolers, vendors, horse-drawn wagon rides, a tree lighting ceremony and a meet-and-greet with Santa.

“We also have families who have donated their beautiful nacimientos (nativity scenes), which will be on display in the Grijalva House,” Valerie Samoy, special staff assistant for Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, said.

According to Pima County Parks & Rec, entry is free to children and $5 for adults. The Historic Canoa Ranch is located on 5375 S. I-19 Frontage Road in Green Valley.
