WILLCOX, Ariz. -- Willcox USD officials say there will be extra patrols for the next few days after a stranger approached some students on Wednesday.
The school district sent a letter to parents and guardians on Thursday, explaining the incident.
In the letter, it says there was a report of a man asking students if they needed a ride home after sports practice, even asking again after they refused. Willcox USD says all of the students involved are safe.
The Willcox Department of Public Safety was made aware of the report and added extra patrols to make sure students are safe.
