The drive kicks-off on the heels of Diaper Need Awareness Week which runs through September 30.
The Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona joined forces with the Vail School District which was able to bring in 100,000 diapers to the bank.
The goal of the drive is to collect 500,000 diapers by April 20, 2019.

The bank is taking in diapers for children of all ages and sizes and are always in need of diapers for newborns since those are typically the ones they see fly out of their warehouse.
Adult diapers and feminine hygiene products are among the other products the bank carries and gives to those who need them.
