Arizona National Guard hosts Muster in Tucson

TUCSON- Arizona National Guard's Muster is scheduled to take place at Tucson's Kino Veteran's Memorial on Stadium Sunday, Dec. 2, 9:00 am - 3:00 p.m

The men and women of the Arizona National Guard are gathering to honor the service and sacrifice of all Arizona veterans and pay tribute to the 100-year anniversary of the end of WWI.

Admission is free to the public and gates open at 9 a.m.

The Arizona Air National Guard will conduct a joint flyover consisting of a KC-135 Stratotanker and three F-16 Fighting Falcons at 11 a.m.

A community expo follows the flyover event, open until 3 p.m.

The Muster ceremony, per a press release from the Arizona National Guard, is tradition that reaches back to the first Muster of colonial militia in 1963. This is the second Muster held in current times.
