NAVAJO COUNTY, Ariz. — NAVAJO COUNTY — An AMBER Alert issued for a 16-year-old boy missing from Navajo County, Arizona, has been canceled.

Holbrook police were looking for Kaleb Gardner Smith who disappeared Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. Police say he was last seen near North 8th Avenue and West Erie while on a morning run.

Smith was eventually located safely, police say. No further information was given about where and how he was found.

Authorities said Smith might have been in the company of an unidentified older white male, possibly between the ages of 50 and 65 years old with balding hair.

They were believed to be traveling in a Black, 2019 Dodge Charger with Tennessee license plate number 7P7IB1.

Officials said the search for Smith extended to New Mexico as well.
