TUCSON, Ariz. - The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Tucson and surrounding areas Thursday.
According to the service, rain and possible snow could come from 11 p.m. Thursday through 11 a.m. Saturday.
Some areas will receive as much as three inches of snow. Roads could be slippery.
While we likely won't see any accumulation in Tucson, KGUN 9 Meteorologist April Madison says Tucsonans may see some flakes falling as flurries are a possibility.
Affected areas include the Tucson metro area, San Pedro River Valley, eastern Cochise County, Santa Cruz River Valley and upper Gila River Valley.
