TUCSON, Ariz. — Temperatures could soar to as high as 118 degrees in some areas of Southern Arizona this weekend.
The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning from 10 a.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Monday.
The warning covers south central Pima County, southeast Pinal County, eastern Cochise Chounty and the upper San Pedro River Valley.
Ajo, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Nogales, Picacho Peak State Park, Mammoth, Sierra Vista, Oracle and Benson are included.
