Hottest temps of the year arrive

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Mostly sunny today as highs begin to climb.

We will see the hottest temps of the year today through Sunday. An EXTREME HEAT WARNING is in effect each day from 10 AM today through 8 PM Sunday.

Expect a downturn in thunderstorm activity today and Friday with just isolated storms south and east of Tucson.
