Tucson stayed just below 100° yesterday and will hover around that on this first day of July.
Gusty winds will bring one more day of elevated fire conditions, with a dry forecast in place this week.
High temperatures will be right around normal through Thursday, then then warm up to several degrees above normal for the July 4th holiday weekend.
