TUCSON, Ariz. — An Extreme Heat Warning will go into effect at 10 a.m. Thursday and last through 8 p.m. Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures could rise to as high as 114 degrees in parts of Southern Arizona.
The advisory is in effect for western the Tucson metro area, southern Pinal County, western Pima County, the Tohono O'odham Nation and upper Gila River Valley.
